Some do approve, some don't when it comes to Iraq. North Korea is a problem for the six-nations group and the United Nations, not just the US.

Well... The war that is currently being waged in Iraq is a particularly sticky issue. It started on a bit of a false pretense. I have said this before and I will say it again ***loudly*** too anyone that holds still long enough the war in Iraq was sold too G. Bush Jr. based on one solid fact. GBJr has ***infact*** loudly stated this fact on more than one occation "That guy tried too kill my dad." In my mind that's a pretty cr4ppy place too make desisions from. I'm an American that dun live in the US any more (completely unrelated thing) and I have too say I don't approve of it. I was pretty iffy about the whole show from the get go.
As far as North Korea. North Korea has been in a tough spot for a very very very long time. Things aren't going too get better for those people any time soon. The government of North Korea has taken a very VERY dangerous road. They want too bully George Bush Jr. into bilatetal negotiations by exploring nuclear weapons. The way it works is that they do some testing of detonation scheams and delivery systems. This makes Japan and South Korea very nervous. Those guys go and rage at GBJr about this and the US State Department reminds GBJr that he has an obligation too protect Japan and South Korea from North Korean agression.
I recon that, in the region, it's only China that has a solid long term read on what is happening. George isn't going too sit down with Kim. That's a fact. It will NEVER happen. George is way too cool for shcool (or so he thinks). Kim is in a fairly desprate situation. China is thinking... "I REALLY don't want to fight *this* war again!"
Long story short. The US isn't going too cross the DMZ in the near future. It's not going too be until after 2008 that the possiblity occures that a US president is going too take Kim seriously again. Kim really needs too just go away or get wise too the fact that he's not doing a very good job for his people.
I hope this gives you ideas too work with. If you'd like too talk too me about this some more please feel free too contact me via email or IM.

The reason we, the American people, were given for invading Iraq initially was that they were an immanent threat to our safety. The current administration made the case that Sadaam Hussein had "weapons of mass destruction." Bush said that he didn't want to wait until we saw a mushroom cloud before he acted. Basically, they scared the hell out of everyone, and we stupidly bought into it. Now that we know this was all wrong, whether because we were lied to or because of bad intelligence, we are told that it's part of the "war on terror." They have repeatedly tried to imply a connection between Iraq and the attacks on 9/11. This is B.S. as well. Now the whole situation is decaying into chaos. I'm not sure what their reasons were for wanting to invade Iraq. Maybe they really believed he was a threat. Maybe they really did think invading Iraq would be a good move in combating terrorism. I'm not sure what they were thinking, but I'm positive that they have made an enormous mess of things, and I can assure you that a lot of Americans don't support what they have done.

The answer to your question is a resounding NO from the American public. As just one measure are the opinion polls that show huge majorities against the Iraqi war and its failed policies. This public opposition and failures in the war, itself, has begun to force the government to back away from its traditional positions.
Because of the major issues involved, there will never be an 'aggressive' war against North Korea, and, even the government recognizes this.

I am speaking for myself, not everyone in my country. Personally, I wish all of our young men and women would come home but I don't think that is going to happen any time soon. Many of us Americans feel lied to by our government leaders. I don't think we are waging war against countries due to 'American imperialism' but I do feel this war is a war over money. There are groups who are becoming increasingly vocal about getting us our of Iraq and I hope this does not become another Vietnam situation.

NO ,most people don't approve. It's because of what the terrorist did on 9/11 at the world trade tower that America went to war No body wanted it to last this long and have so many deaths, both our and theirs. But there are so many people over ther that do want to take over the country, and so many people that want to die a martyr and go to heaven in there suicide bombings that America has been forced to stay to help the people elect politicians and set up a government to run there own country and get rid of their oppressor and torturers.the people of Irac Begged for help for years and the world turn it's back, just like in Hitler's Germany Saddam is as evil as Hitler and his son was worse.People are sick of war and death, the price in blood has been too much and the reason were there. We are a peaceful people, that defends our own and some times steps up to defend victims of dictators.

They are protecting the oil from it being gained by the terrorists.. it could be a big bargaining chip for them to have oil as leverage to control other countries... called blackmail! Korea can be kept under control by blockades.... to prevent them shipping out nuclear products and rocket material..
In case you are not aware of it, the terrorist activity has been ongoing for more than 20 years. They are presently literally at war in more than 30 countries, in the attempt to claim those countries for themselves... Won't leave much more for them to concentrate on, except the larger western countries.
If you look at all of this activity as imperialism, you are sadly mistaken.. That is much of the propaganda that is actually put out by some within our own country..It has been picked up by the terrorists and they are using it to continue to deflate the American spirit. Allowing them to become more easily overcome.
So many in our country actually have no realistic idea of why we are at war..It is a fight for survival.. the terrorists have claimed they will bury America, as well as all western governments.
France and Germany are now getting their warnings..Many Asian countries are under attack presently. It is a world-wide effort.

America is divided on this issue, and pretty much all the others, as well. That explains it all. In my opinion, I'm not informed enough to form an opinion on Iraq, but I do know that we need to be actively engaged in combat with the terrorist networks operating within the Middle-East. Iran is a terrible threat that needs to be dealt with NOW.

i am american and considered a dirty liberal because i despise american fascism -- calling it imperialism is being far too nice. americans as far as i can tell are mostly fat and stupid. nobody else in the world would back our government but a majority do -- and the whole time their life is being sucked dry by the company they work for and their government they love so much. do you have a spare bedroom?
