He can be in the Indian Cricket Team as the 12th man, carrying drinks etc. on to the field. He should learn a few things from Chris Gayle & Gilchrist to know about consistency & patience. Once he improves, he can come into the team.

Yes, he is deserved to be in the indian team.He is a match winner for india.Don't look at the past.In his last match he has played he scored 65 and that knock will boost his confidence for the upcoming series against South Africa. He is effective as a fifth bowler too in the indian team. Some times he looses his patience and becomes out.He has the ability to break the partnerships. So I think he should be in the indian team

Defenitely yes because he is a very good batsman capable of demoralising any bowling side in the world on his day. Further, he is a utility bowler too and his services as a bowler can be used when regular bowlers concede lot of runs. Unfortunately, he is passing through a bad phase. I strongly feel that his bad
time will be over soon and he will come back strongly.

In my opinion he is Okay !!! A player like him can come in to the form as quickly as he scores runs. At this time he is facind bad patch. Last but not the least i just want to say that "Form is temperory but class is perminent".

Of course yes, He is a kind of batsman which is always there in Bowlers & Captain's mind. He can blast at any time & once he goes on, we all know what happens.
He is just like Gilly/Gyle... he just needs to be consistent that's it.
Regards,
S
