I agree with you. I love it when a guy is between being overprotective, and protective. It really makes me feel good. I'm a petite woman so guys think their my protector's anyway (smile) Good question by the way!

Everything that's too much is annoying. To show care and being worried about you is acceptable but to be overly protective would make you feel like you have no mind of your own.

I think its sweet when a guy wants to protect you. Now if he gets too over protective than there's a problem here. He has become your bodyguard instead of your best friend.

me myself, i like laid back. maybe a bit protective but only if a situation calls for it. If a guy is too protective, i start to not like him. Its just because ill start to feel suffocated and like they are controling, because to me, that goes hand in hand. I like the guys to give me my space and not make me feel like they are trying to run my life. Im very sensitive to actions like that, and right away thats a turn off to me

I love it when my boyfriend acts protective. Makes me feel cherished. :) I've not yet experienced "over-protective" though some would consider the way my boyfriend acts to be in that category.

Protective is OK, but getting much more than that could be bordering on controlling.

It is sweet, but can get old after a while. If it too much it gets very annoying. Controlling guys suck and want to make you feel worthless so you stay with them.
