barclays do not send out e mails like this
they are scams trying to get you bank details
I have spoken with Barclays and they did not seem interested only told me to ignore them and NOT reply to them
if you are using norton internet security then mark them as spam and they will be instantly deleted

its not from barclays, its a phishing email. I get loads from banks claiming I need to update my account when I dont even have an account with them. Add the address to your spam filter and it will automatically get blocked.

they are probably fraudulant-go to barclays web site and inform customer services or print a copy a take it to your local branch...do NOT click on any links in the e-mail...then delete the messages and delete again from your recycle bin/spam folder

I doubt you can stop them, but you can block those emails.
Most of those emails are spam and phishing crap. Fraud stuff that is bent to yank your money. Don't ever respond to them.
Go to your email settings and block the sender's address. Or, if you are using Gmail or the latest Yahoo Beta, you can mark those as spam and any further mails from that address will end up directly in your spam folder.

Read through your e-mails,you should find an unsubscribe tab on your e-mail,click on it and hopefully you'll stop them.
If you cannot find one,e-mail barclay's and tell them you are not' interested in their services, and ask politely for them to stop sending you unasked for e-mails.

Assuming you are using MS Outlook for e-mail, simply right-click on the e-mail and then choose the junk e-mail options. This should send all future mails from that source to your junk e-mail box (you can undo this if you wish)
