Oh my! The computer and the Internet have totally revolutionized my life!!

I actually have a social life now, online, which before I did not, because I am homebound and often bedridden. There is an entire world at my fingertips. A library, the worlds largest shopping mall, all the friends a person could want, information for every need, I have a life now!!

I know that many tens of thousands and more of people like me feel totally liberated by the internet. Also, I love to read, but my vision is too poor to read most books, but if they are in digital format, I can increase the light and fontsize to where I can read it comfortably, and dont have to hold a book or turn pages.

And on top of it all, I met my hubby online, can keep in contact with my kids and grandkids and parents, all of whom live in another country.

It's been an awesome thing in my life.

Yes.

I now get the majority of news from the net. Iwon.com and cnn.com and yahoo are the ones I visit most often.

I also have the world book encyclopedia in my pc and look up anything I don't know in that. It is much faster than digging out the books.

PLus, I too often sit here late at night and read all these crazy questions.

I used to get a decent night's sleep before I discovered YA!!!!!!!
