My wife is about 6 month pregnant and every morning she complains about the pains from my little guy kicking the $#!! out of her all night. I don't know howit feels but she makes sure I know how she feels and I am glad its not me.

I don't think you're being mean. I'm 37 weeks and I often get tired/annoyed with the baby moving. Its uncomfortable and always seems to happen when I'm trying to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I love her to death, and I cannot wait to hold her in my arms. I just wish that day was here now.
I think you get to a point in your pregnancy when you are just done with it. You're like - hey this is beautiful, wonderful, yada yada yada but I want my body back and to spend the time with the baby on the outside.
Of course, when she doesn't move, it freaks me out and I worry about her. So, irritated as I am, I wouldn't want her to stop because I would have a heart attack. There are so many things that you think you aren't supposed to feel when you're pregnant - i.e. irritated with the pregnancy, feeling disconnected to the baby. But its natural and it doesn't mean you don't love her (or him).
Its not any different from when you are irritated with your toddler for throwing tantrums, but you don't love them any less. My husband and I were very lucky to conceive and I want and love my baby more than anything - but I swear I'm so tired of being pregnant that I am ready to pull my hair out. *GRIN*

No I could never get sick of feeling my baby move around. At least when they are moving you know they are fine.

Pregnancy is where we begin to learn of the patience and sacrifice it takes to have children. One day my baby didn't move for several hours, she turned out to be fine, but during that time I was so worried and afraid, so I can honestly tell you I was always happy to feel her move even when it hurt.

I don't know but I get sick of hearing about it...I also get sick of everyone ogling over those stupid sonogram photos...you can only see gray shades...everyones all: Oh theres the heart and theres its head or hand or whatever....beautiful?..I dont know... I think it's what you do with that child...how you raise it...how you relate to it...thats what's important...everything else is just pandering and putting up a false facade...I don't buy it...
