Can anyone please offer an explanation? Some of my clothes have bleach marks on them after washing them in the machine. I have tried switching powders etc to no avail. I dont use bleach at all so it's a mystery.

you may consider any clensers u use on ur self. Once I had bought a face cream for acne and began to dicover bleached spots on the upper arm of my shirts; where I had a bad habit of wiping my face when working out. and even once on my pant where I had wiped my hands. just a thought !!

its to do with bio and non bio one only works on high temps so if you do a family or quick wash the powder rests on the clothes undesolved and bleach dots appear

Powder detergent is strong stuff. I quit using it and now use liquid laundry soap.

It's best to start the water filling the tub, add whatever soap, etc. that you want to include (baking soda, Oxyclean, etc.) THEN add the clothes/towels/etc. when it's nearly full before it starts agitating.
