+ You list just a tip of an iceberg. There have been thousands of pages of his work that have been lost and destroyed, so there is no way of getting an exact amount. I know that some scientists work a whole lifetime from a single drawing that he made and try to figure out what just one little detail was supposed to do and if they can figure it out they have what is considered a scientific break through in our time. I really wonder if he was contacted by aliens or some other power to have a mind like his and still be able to maintain a semblance of sanity. I think he was well protected by the SCION. so he was an enigma in his own times.
Just get a couple of prints of any of his drawings and put them up where you see them every day and maybe you will be the next one to figure something out that he did not make clear during his life. (for that matter I think I may follow that advice also)
Good Luck

Are you mad? There are thousands of pages of Leonardo's work found around the world in various codex's you'd need an essay to explain all of his adaptations, experiments and inventions. You'd be best buying a good book.

Ps

Don't take any notice of people who say that he invented the helicopter as the drawing is actually an screw which worked on the helix principle.

Leonardo da Vinci, 1452-1519.

Drawings of Leonardo.

He was a gentle vegetarian who loved animals and despised war, yet he worked as a military engineer to invent advanced and deadly weapons.
