was seeing ths guy and one day I text messaged him about my earrings, and then left him a voicemail explaining that i needed to know if they were at his house, because i was wearing them to go out, he text messaged me five minutes later and told me not to call him anymore, because he did not like me and that he would tell my sorority sisters about our relationship...and he would tell other people as well, and that I should know that he has a girlfriend and she is a member of my sorority(keep in mind that i did not know he had a girl,so the next day I get a call(from his best friend) who is also one of my sorority sisters calls me and invites me to an event that he was hosting? And I 'm like this is weird, because she has never called me..So What do you think was the cause of his/her behavior? do you think she knows something, or maybe he told her something,?Or was it a coincidence that she calls me asks me to go out with her after I ahdn't heard from her in over eight months?

Ok... why does it sound like he took you for nothing more than a convenience, as it seems he's doing with his other girlfriend? I'm seeing that after reading that she's paying the bills...
Now the mention of their falling out... DON'T play second fiddle to him... Not unless you really want to deal with facing this situation again... You're better than that and you should move on and keep him distant... Find someone better... He doesn't deserve your time.

First, guys are strange animals; I am one - I should know.
Second, leave the earrings alone. Don't bother with them. They're just things.
Finally, I think that people talk and your "friend" in the sorority just wants to set you up. I would do the adult thing and find something else to do and avoid this guy.
Sounds like he's being a kid and doing what kids do. He's told all his friends that you've been with him and it somehow got back to this girl. Now it's coming back to you.
Be you be the better person. You don't need the drama. Do you?

Is it possible that his friend, your sorority sister, had access to his phone at the time that you sent the text to him? Because the message you received sounds like it is from a girl who likes him instead of something that a guy would send.
I suggest that you don't go out with her because if she is the one who sent the text she might have a unpleasant surprise for you.

Make other plans; don't brood about him and his friends. Just forget them all and do things with other friends. Try to make other plans for yourself and a different group of friends. Your well-being is more important than those earings. Just get yourself another pair like them.
If you ever run in to him again, just be casual and unconcerned when it comes to him anymore. Hold your head up, walk tall, and be jubilant with your present friends. Try not to attend gatherings where he'll be present.
Most of all DO NOT ever attend parties that he or his friends are hosting. Start forming your own friends outside of their circle. They sound evil. If you ever get invited by them again, just say, "Oh sorry, I have other plans. Thanks for invite though, maybe another time." Although you'll never attend their parties again. He sounds like a user.

Don't even bother with them if he opens his mouth about your sitution then he would be stupid and don't let noboby threaten you im going to keep it real it's going to come out soon or later and he or whoever is going to try to make you look stupid you don't have too but i would pull the girl to the side and let her know i didn't know you was with such an such but we dated keep it short and sweet never tell another female your personal business i don't know how the girl will take it but if they tell it things will be worse so i rather get it done and over with

I think something very very suspicious is going on....
Refuse to go out with him or his friends, and do not accept that invitation.. Something fishy is going on. This world is field with sickos. be careful.
And for his behavior only logical thing i can think of is probably his girl friend found your earring and Tarah a big fight... ( and now maybe,,,, maybe he thinks you left your earrings on purpose... :( and he wants a revenge)
Be care full
Good luck
