We don't?

OMG OMG OMG ....quick, someone tell my teenage son that because his mommy is a lesbian he can't possibly exist!!!

Good luck, you can tell teens anything you want...you just can't tell them much.

I was unaware that because I'm a lesbian that my uterus is simply closed for business. I could have sworn I went through 25 1/2 hrs of labor and preclempcia to bring a bouncing baby boy into the world roughly seventeen and three quarter years ago....or was that just another episode of "As the World Turns" I was watching?

As todays science allows artificial insemination for childless couples (including gay, lesbian, bi, etc) that shouldn't be an isue if, indeed, they want to reproduce.
Secondly, gays are a small percentage of the world population, so even if none of them reproduced I can't see it making much of a difference in this overpopulated world

I doubt it will have that much of an effect. It will probably just end up balancing things out (you know, with the people who reproduce like rabbits).

No effect at all!

There are too many stupid people stupidly reproducing in extreme excess of need or reasonable choice.

And before you get your panties in a bunch, I'm a heterosexual with kids. I'm just answering because it was an amusing question.

Gay people have been around for a million years and it has not affected the world's population.

I think it is a bad thing cause if the world all became gay then the human race will be screwed.

No! Of course not!

Gays don't reproduce???? Who says? Lots of lesbian couples bring home some bottled sperm and have a ball getting pregnant and raising their children. Lots of gay couples have children with surrogate mothers. This is what our technology has brought us- who you sleep with doesn't affect your ability to bear children.

Keep that in mind, k?

Will you explain to me why when there are 6 Billion people on the earth and the birth rate is higher than the death rate that you encourage even more people being born?

yup it will change! but not in any negative ways. The more "gays" that come out of the closet the more happier they will be rather than confused and hiding, often suffering with depression, anxiety and not living their life to their true potential.

I think the world is getting over populated.
We are using up our resources left and right ,so I say if we are slowing down the process ,well then good for us ,we balance everything out!
