Britain and the US mirror each other in terms of politics, A police state already exists in both countries, very subtle, just out side of your minds eye, but still there. There is 1 surveillance camera for every 14 people in the UK. How f*cking scary is that?

What are you talking about??
Britain is a Democracy, not a police state.
USA is headed to being a olice state first before Britain is!! " Hello, our president...and the countless things he has done to our rights, and civil liberties!!! "
that would be a start.......
so to answer your question, yes USA is headed toward being a police state ... but not like Britain. Britain is nothing of the sort.

No I dont, and england is nothing close to a police state. Think more along the lines of North Korea, when you ask.

Maybe. Most people in the West want a much stronger police to deal with the exploding Muslim population and its effects on terrorism.

Get a grip England only allowed their Bobbies to carry guns just
recently. Seems to many of their repressed citizens were killing
to many unarmed police officers

the whole world is being settup to be a policestate and the american people are not an exception ... they just THINK they are for the most part which makes it even easier to clamp down on their rights because they are in a state of perpetual denial about it ...

I hope not, but if a Democratic Congress gets in, one of the things they intend to get passed is the "Fair Doctrine Act". This is their way of censoring the conservative talk shows because they are mad that their liberal talk shows are unsuccessful. Sounds like censorship to me.

Yep, already has. Fencing us in, can't leave without a passport and all connected with your SS number in Jan. 2008. Few know this it appears and think nothing off it, like to keep terrorist out, it's to get all that revenue for the passports but mainly to track us.
