99 corolla, whenever it's cold outside, I get into my car and can't close the door. The door won't latch and pops back open. Sometimes I can slam it and lock it real quick and it stays shut. Last time, however, the door didn't latch and the automatic locks popped up and down, over and over, for about 5 minutes, all by themselves. Any ideas???? (Once the car is warm, the door will usually shut, but the locks keep popping.)

THE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT MIGHT HAVE MOISTURE ON IT CAUSING CIRCUITS TO GROUND. (LOCKS POPPING UP AND DOWN). BUY SOME DRYZI AIR AND PUT IT IN A OPEN CONTAINER IN YOUR TRUNK, THIS WILL DRIVE OUT THE MOISTURE IN THE CAB. AS FOR YOUR DOORS, THE RUBBER SEALS AROUND THE DOOR GET VERY HARD, AND STIFF FROM THE COLD WEATHER. APPLY SOME HOUSE HOLD LUBRICANT ON THE SEALS, THIS WILL SOFTEN THEM, SO YOU WON'T HAVE TO SLAM THE DOOR SO HARD. GOOD LUCK
