dog star connection, read into timothy leary and his "starseed transmissions". isnt it also a little odd that societies on different continents within the same time frames were able to build similar structures, when they had no way of communicating? when asked how the ancient egyptians where able to build the pyramids, they replied that the people from the dog star (sirius a) told them how. (it might have been sirius b, i can never keep the 2 stars straight. also the ancient egyptians have known the location of the dog star for millinea, while modern scientists had only discovered its presence/location in the last 100 years)

Obviously they got advanced knowledge from somewhere else most probably a visit from an advanced civilization. There are Pyramids in many different parts of the World but, they all have one side alligned with Magnetic North. Is this a coinsidence? I don't think so.

The ancient Egyptian social construct, as we, in general terms consider it, was an extremely complex social organization. In many ways, they functioned voluntarily as a collective and still, in Egypt and the region, society works that way still.
If you want to get a handle on ancient Egypt, I recommend that you not place them in a "book of sacred ancients" as you seem to want to approach, but instead just consider them as very wonderful, however different from today's mankind, and complex people that acted on behalf of belief, faith in their work and realization of the divine in a unique way.
From there, I'd recommend reading about the region, time and what's known about the culture.
You might just learn something from opening many books on the topic.

Scientists are still trying to figure this out. The Egyptian's could also perform brain surgery, and build pyramid's. Watch National Geographic channel, and History channel, they have a lot of info on this subject.

i think coz they were using there mind , human and natural resources so good, they had beliefs that gave them the motivation as well .
and by the way , the pharaoh if those who u mean , weren't jews.!
and that running water is the NILE RIVER.
