Would it be possible to be hired as a 911 operator Or Police Officer if I have a misdemeanor on my record?

The reason I'm asking the question is because...I'm trying to apply for a position.

Depending on the seriousness of the misdemeanor, your age at the time of conviction, and your record since the conviction, you may be eligible for a 911 Operator. A Police Officer position is doubtful.
