Is it possible that staff members have their own private scoreboard. But instead of getting points for asking and answering questions, they get points for violating them. This could explain the thousands of baseless violations that happen everyday.

Yes i agree.They get points for deleting Q&A.I made the mistake of saying Yahoo was too slow and got deleted like this answer probably will

NAH, I think it is automated.

You make a report, the robot, deletes it without looking at it and sends you a violation notice.
