yet it still has radio,lights, all of that.

it is a 2002 ford focus. when the switch is turned it won't turn over at all.

Could be several things. Like a bad starter, bad solenoid on the starter, bad starter relay, loose connection in the starter circuit, bad ground, a bad battery, and more. You need to get it to a AutoZone, Checker, etc., that offer diagnostics for free or a shop for testing. Indiscriminate replacement of these or other parts without getting a good diagnosis will be a waste of time and money.

It would help to know the make and year of the car. Sounds like the starter solenoid is bad and has a weak magnet if it is a Chevy.Check that first and I am assuming this is after the car is hot from driving.

Lights, radio, etc. may work on a weak battery. Check your battery and also alternator. don't replace them till you know what the problem is.
