Iron Man vs. Brainiac?! Most people don't know Brainiac has the ability to manipulate computer systems. He can easily take over the armor, kill the person wearing it and then modify the armor to his own specifications. Five minutes or depending how long it takes for paint to dry Brainiac then has new power suit.

Brainiac, Iron Man is just a drunk ****. Although Brainiac is a bit of a pussy, all Iron Man has is that armor. His foes are people like the Mandarin (who Spiderman could beat easily) and Crimson Dynamo (A guy in a robot suit) Brainiac has given Superman a run for his money, shrunk an entire city, teamed with Lex Luthor, and lobotimized Aquaman. Yeah...Brainiac takes it. Now Iron Man verses Toy man. Iron man takes that. But here, I got to give it to brainiac.

Are we talking post extremis Iron Man or pre Extremis.
Post extremis Iron Man is basically a quicker more powerfull version of the old "man in the suits" except for a few very important differences.
1- he has a healing factor as powerfull (or moreso) than wolverine's.
2- He can control his suit (and other machines) with his mind- ever see the movie the lawnmower man? that is where stark is headed. Iron Man now has the power to take over and control computer systems as well. And brainiac has to interface with them somehow, Iron Man can do it because the connections and waives come from inside his body now.
3- marvel hasn't stated whether or not the extremis biological upgrade cured his alcoholism- but he hasn't drank in years.
Basically he could lead an army of iron man suits against brainiac.
Iron Man even before extremis would rip braniac a new one. He is one of the most intelligent characters in marvel. He has all the good qualities of batman and even MORE power and intelligence. He regularly invents weapons.
Superman? who cares? lex luthor gives superman problems and he is just human, batman has kicked superman's *** a few times and he is only human. The fact that superman gives braniac problems doesn't speak will for him.
Brainiac doesn't stand a chance before or after, stark's specialty is technology, brainiac is basically just a robotic computer.

I would say Brainiac since he can take over iron man's suit but I like iron man better
