ummmmmmmmmm 2 be a ballerina u need 2 be skinny nd have agility. a football player needs power, speed, agility, quickness............ u have 2 play hurt when ur a football player a ballrina prob will not dance if they have a broken nail. i played football with busted up fingers, concusions, sprained knees, sprained ankles, a played a playoff game once with a severely strained neck/back, as a freshman i was handed the ball 2 win the championship winning toach down as i was pushing my way 2 the end zone i felt my finders snaping, nd popping out as defenders were tryin 2 push me back nd my teamates were pushing me foward. as a full back i moved very strong people on my back trying 2 gain extra yards, as a linebacker i gave people hits that gave me concusions, as a tight end i had 2 catch, block, nd run more than a ballerina does in a lifetime, as a qb i had 2 read defenses nd make perfect throws. so football is muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch harder than ballet's where u prance around in underwear. i doubt i would ever see a ballerina dancing in below freezing temperatures on a icy field. no offenc 2 them they r athletes nd have skill jus not even close 2 football players
ok im going 2 continue this more playing football with a strained neck/back is the most painful thing iv ever done in my life. nd iv batted in baseball with a partially dislocated shoulder that i felt slip out as a took a swing. iv thrown a baseball 92 mph with a shredded up arm. everytime i made a tackle it felt like my head was going 2 come off. nd its true we do get breaks 2 set up for plays but not when its a hurry up offense nd i played all 3 sides of the ball special teams, offense, defense in every game. that takes more out of u. u ever been tackled by a monster of a man while doing your heel toe. once again no offence 2 u what u do is athletics nd it takes skill but jus not nearly as much as a football player. heres another example i was a senior last year in hs nd for the playoffs i was on the field for every single play xept 5 plays. that takes everything out of u. nd so what my ankle turns like that when i have people tackeling me. nd those red feet r u kidding me do u want to see the surgery scars i have on my knees nd shoulder (to be fair the shoulder thing came from baseball but football made it vulnerable) 3 knee minor knee surguries nd 2 minor shoulder surgeries. srry about ur red feet though. nd again no offense what u do is challenging but u cant compare dancing with football

Um excuse me. Just because a woman can do it doesn't make it easy. I think ballet is harder than football, and ballerinas have to dance on broken ankles feet and toes all the time. If they don't dance because of an injury, they lose their job. There's a saying: "If football was any harder it'd be called ballet" Ballerinas get hurt all the time. I once pulled my hamstring doing a kick! Male ballet dancers have to lift the weight of a woman under really hot stage lights and the pressure not to mess up if they want to keep their job. Don't even talk to me about dedication because a football player gets paid like millions of dollars and a ballerina gets paid like nothing. So in order to be a ballerina it has to be purely for the love of it. People have died from ballet, and not to mention get horribly injured. My teacher's always telling me to suffer. They have to be flexile, strong, have crazy endurance and stamina, agile, fast, and they have to look beautiful and constantly smile. The only reason people think ballet is easy is because the ballerinas are doing their job. They HAVE to make it look effortless. I doubt any of you idiots who think football is harder would last a minute in any of my dance classes!

Personally, I believe that ballerinas have it harder than football player. At least, a football player can eat healthy, and exercise by doing a lot of running every day during the offseason, in order to prepare and get into better shape for the sport. There is no such preparation for ballerinas.

Only an opinion, but I think that:

- a ballerina's legs and feet take a terrific pounding, particularly because of several of the odd positions they must use, wheras,

- a football player's knees are apt to be hit from the side which can completely tear the MCL and ACL. In addition, a football player's whole body takes violent hits both in practice and games.

So, overall, I'd say a football player's body is:

1. more susceptible to serious injury,

2. which will plague him for the rest of his life.

Two different sides of the world.
On one hand(ballerina) you take years learning balance, control.
On the other(football) the athlete learns his position, improves or advances on his body.
In my opinion, I say it is more difficult to be a football player.
A football player just like a ballerina could train his whole life to become what he has always dreamed. Yet in football, the competition is much larger.
You have not only break your body down from practices, to playing actual football, but have the problems of dealing with hopeful college scholarships, hopefully being tough enough, or fast enough to get that much further in the athlete's career.

Playing football wearing a tu-tu and ballerina slippers is the hardest of all...

I would think it would be a football player. Although a ballerina needs to have quite a bit of stamina to dance as they do, they never have to worry about eleven people trying to knock their lights out or piling up on top of them, or have to deal with inclement weather conditions.

People have died or have suffered crippling injuries from playing football. A woman can do ballet. That tells you how easy it is compared to football.
