if two consecutive numbers are multiplied the products smallest prime number is always 2 whichever two consecutive numbers you choose. this is because the product of any two consecutive numbers is always even.

if i understand your question correctly, the answer will always be 2 if the product is an even number or 3,5, or that number if it the product is odd.
