How would i take the fine for speeding in my state and graph it, and it has to be a function (algebra II)?

For example:
Fine= $10 for extra 1 mile above speed limit 50miles/hour.

Its a linear function. y=mx+c

y= total fine
x= miles exceeded
c= 0 (Zero) or (any special charge by Police)

If no additonal charge then:
f(x)=$10x

If extra charge for booking (for example $5)
Then:
f(x)=$10x + $5

You can plot the graph form this equation.
Find x-intecept and y intecept. It will be a straight graph.
