I must admit, when they first announced that Daniel Carig was going to be the new Bond, I was a bit disappointed.
After seeing some of the Casino Royale clips though, I must say that I'll give Craig the benefit of doubt and say that perhaps he was not a bad choice.
I think it was the right time to change Bond. Pierce Brosnan was struggling in the role and was not as convincing as he had been in his ealier films.
I'll definitely go and watch the new movie to be able to judge for myself in Craig is good.
By the way, the guy who I thought would have made a great Bond was Will Snow. I watch him in a telesion adaptation of the classic "Lost World" where he played the role of Challenger, the adventurer. I thought he was great, but hardly anyone has even heard about him.

The new Bond seem to lack the charm and charisma of a Bond. Plus, notice this, in the trailer there was a shot where he was topless and muscle bound, I thought, yuck, James Bond can never be muscle bound, that's contraditory to being sophisticated, suave, and refined. No finess there. Did they overdo the look? I mean, yeah actors are supposed to look good and have nice body form, but, I don't like idea that a James Bond is more brawny than suave.

Pierce Brosnan was much better . He should have come in 1 or 2 more James Bond Movies. Ewan Mcgregor was also in the running and Lookswise seemed a betetr James Bond Choice.

I think Daniel Craig is a great choice. Even though Pierce Brosnon was good. I think they should've have kept Pierce, but oh well. Sean Connery was also the greatest Bond ever.

no way!brosnan is way better!craig said he never wos even interested in the bond movies!i think he looks more like a bad guy then a bond!

Pierce brosnan was the damn good looking amongst all Bonds...
Of course sean connery was the best in performance
Daneil craig is not that good looking...I think Jason Stathom..would have been better...lets see how high Craig has lived up to...

The actual actor plalying Bond, no but the previews to the movie look so darn good that I must see it.

Er.............not sure it looks gritty and tough but will it win over the Bond geeks? i'm not sure Craig is preety enough either
