Nobody is better equiped to interpret your dream than you are. Other people can guess at what the things you see represent, but only you know what these things mean to you. The questions you must ask yourself are: what do God and Satan mean to me and represent? After realizing what God represents you'll be in a better position to understand what choosing that side means and what turning into an eyeball represents. Being a depressed person myself, all I can do is offer some encouragement. Cheer up! :) I totally understand what you're going through. Good luck with understanding your dreams.

It seems that you are experiencing a battle within yourself.
You have a choice to go down the right path or the wrong path. For you to be lifted towards the heavens would seem that you are on the path of good at present and should try to stay there, the eye I would think displays seeking, looking and seeing that if you took the bad path below you there could be war and strive within and around your personal life, which a bad path would likely bring about.
I think you are being showed the bigger picture as such.
You will be the only one who knows if this feels right to you. Though dream books hold interpretations of items and objects, every dream is unique to the dreamer and you should keep a dream journal for yourself so you can look back at a later date and it might make alot more sense to you.

D.A.S. 's twisted theology aside, here's my take on it. Sometimes dreams are just senseless mirrors of what we are experiencing in life. My counselor, a very wise Christian professional, said that dreams do not always mean something, often they are just the minds' way of tossing things around when it is unfettered by conscious thought. She doesn't buy into the whole idea that you can literally assign the same symbols across the board to the dreams people are having, although some dreams do have very evident symbolism that makes sense.
I have asked God to show me when He may be trying to get my attention with a dream, but that is rare. That was in the pre-written Bible days, that God often communicated through dreams instead because there was no writen Word of God.
Maybe you are reaching out to accept God's way of life for you, and this is coming out in your dreams.
Also, the other side of the spirit world (that would be the Adversary, or Satan) does go after us in various ways to try to discourage us BECAUSE we are making waves by following in Christ's footsteps and that bothers him.
I was having so many disturbing dreams, I told my counselor that I felt like my dreams were the Devil's playground and it had gotten to the point where I didn't even want to go to bed at night. She prayed with me that my dreams would be God's work shop instead, and praying that prayer nightly also made all the difference & restored me to peaceful sleep.
If you do feel as if you are experiencing anything outside of God's will for you, including Astral Projection (or Soul Travel as some call it), ask Him to remove that ability if He doesn't want you to have it. If you are willing and that is the case, He will do so. Even proponents of Astral Projection speak of times when their soul had a horrible time getting back into their body, and they feared they never would, and that they would die. It was scary enough to cause them to stop that practice & feel lucky to have gotten out of it while they still could.
Try reading Scripture before you go to sleep. For some kind of structure, you might do Proverbs, chapter3 on November 3rd, and so on. We need to nurture our spirit, or all it has to feed from is the garbage the world throws at us night and day.
You seem to be a sensitive and intelligent person, hope these specific proactive suggestions prove to be helpful. Take good care.

This dream could mean that a decision needs to be made who you want to serve. It seems that you chose God over Satan and was shown that if you do you will make it in. Exploring North America could be some events that will take place.

JaCee B is close if not correct.
what the dream means is up to you. as there are certain events that only you can interpret in the dream.
I can equate with that somewhat being clinically depressed myself with anxiety bouts.
yes its an internal battle all right. had plenty of nightmares along with them also.
a battle between order and chaos in your mind.
the eyeball the all seeing eye of God.
out of body experience that lets your soul travel all over the space time continuum as it does not have a specific destination. a feeling of separation as you are split/torn between order and chaos.
but mostly your soul knowing something is wrong in the mind and is trying to balance it out. thus the split.
hope you are seeing someone about this for physical help the depression and nightmares can lead to tragic results if not dealt with.

How about this... Trying to think a little out of the box...
You are dealing with struggles about God and the Devil. Religion is driving you nuts, you want to go to Heaven, but you really don't want to buy into the whole religion thing. You would rather just watch and observe.
Maybe you are a casual church attender, and you feel that you need to choose, to keep going to church and only observing the world of religion, or making a deep choice and joining into the "battle".

After reading your dream, I would say that you have not totally made up your mind on what side you will choose. Because if you had chosen God's side you would not be in a shape of eyeball. You would still be with God. If you are a child of God, you will only die a physical death, your soul and spirit are immortal and will continue to with God. You are looking for immortality which is in Christ Jesus. Just ask for forgiveness and He will give you eternal life with him.

First of all, are you a Christian? Or are you involved in some kind of New Age movement?
Hopefully you are a Christian. Did you know that when Jesus died on the cross, resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven, he gave you and me the same power that He has to rebuke and bind the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. If there is a battle for you, then you have not repented of all your sins (especially all the demonic ones). Depression is not a symptom of a happy person. Have you not turned this over to God? Is your faith strong? You stated you are an emotional person which makes me believe that you are not right with God. God deals in faith not emotions or fears.
Get rid of the sins that are holding you in bondage to satan and you will be free with God's help.
God bless you!

You are going to rise above a life aspect that is extremely negative towards your ultimate goal. However, at this time you will only be able to be a watcher, not an active participant.
Think about this and see if you can identify the negative life aspect. For some it extremely difficult to identify one's ultimate goal and this may be causing you some of your depression.

Seems to me like you have some doubts about Christ. Always trust in Christ, he will not let you perish, it may also be satan sending you a dream trying to vere you from the Lord, go to a good Church brother and talk it over with a pastor, get some bible verses, listen to some hymns, and do some good deeds, makes me feel better sometimes. Go in Christ man, good luck.
