Department stores do not sell Mary Kay products; in fact, Mary Kay consultants are not allowed to sell products by just displaying them in a storefront-- they have to allow the customer to try them before they buy, if that's what the customer wants.

I'm an independent beauty consultant so you can visit my website at http://www.marykay.com/rebeccafox - I ship anywhere free in the United States and am running a special Christmas sale right now. 10% off your whole order- if you order $40 or more you get a free travel skincare set, if you order $100 you get that and a free leather makeup case and if you order $250 you get all of the above and a free travel roll up bag.

If you want to try some samples I will send you some for free- e-mail me at rosepetals220@yahoo.com or rebeccafox@marykay.com.

Hope that helped!

No, they are not sold in department stores - you can purchase them from an independent sales consultant, that is a representative who has signed up to market their products. Check out the website marykay.com. It is really fun - try the virtual makeover, really lets you see what colors look good on you. I have used the products - the microdermabrasion is the absolute best my skin ever felt. My daughter was a rep for a while but she had other business interests and is not doing it now. I am not connected with them in any way - I just found that I really liked the products and thought they were pretty reasonably priced. Go to the website, you should find a way to contact an independent sales representative near where you live.

As everyone here has previously mentioned, Mary Kay Products are not available in department stores..... However, as a side note, many unsucessful Mary Kay distributors end up liquidating thier stock on EBAY.... which is a good source for saving MORE than a few bucks!

No the make up is crap that's why it's been in business for so long. I personally prefer Mac makeup - they have the best selection of colors, and the girls there are wonderful, they help you pick the colors that look best on you, and color match your skin tone/foundation to a tee. I haven't heard anything bad about Mary Kay, but the ladies that sell it don't know much about color i find. I trust Mac. They are make up artists.

No, it is an exclusive catalog company. It is sold by ordinary people like you or me who decide to try having their own business. They make appointments and decide what to charge and everything. Anybody can do it.
