It requires that parents be notified of any abortion by anyone under 18. There is a "bypass" in the case of rape or incest. I haven't read that part of the ballot, but with only this information, do you think it sounds like a good or bad idea?

I don't know. That might sound like a cop out, when in fact, it means that this is a question that deserves more thought than I have given it so far. I have not yet had time to think this one through. There are other ballot issues that I have been more focused on. If forced, I would say at this point that I would vote against parental notification - but, I am not entirely comfortable with that answer.

How about teens being able to get the pill without parents permission this will cut out most of the abortion issues. Or sex education that a little more then abstain?

I think it's a good idea to be notified, because two children are at risk to possibly die. I don't believe in abortion.

No. It would result in more "at home" ans "self" abortions. It wouldn't make kids less likely to have sex or more likely to use protection. They deserve professional medical help as much as anyone over 18.

All abortions are a tragedy. There is help available and other options available for those in a crisis. We Christians should do more to help those contemplating that choice to help them either make a home or find a home for the child. The child is of such great worth, to terminate it's life for the sake of convenience is truly tragic.

sounds good to me.i think a parent has the right to know if their kid is considering having an abortion.
