My parents years ago belonged to a book club where they got one of the classics each month. I can't find that anywhere on the internet.

I'm looking for a collection over 25 and under 100 and hopefully each book would be under $30.

Reader's Digest had a book club that published classic novels with a leather-like binding. They also included a three page insert on the author. Acid-free paper. Included titles like "The Innocents Abroad" by Mark Twain, "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne.

You can find the Readers' Digest series for sell on Ebay as individual books. You can also find them on Amazon. You'll pay a lot less than $30 per book in both places.

The Great Books of the Western World is another set of classics. There are 54 volumes in this set and it includes Plutarch, Virgil, Shakespeare, Plato, and so on. You can find sets of these on Ebay for anywhere from $150 to $300. Estimate $60.00 for shipping in the USA.

There's also a set called the Harvard Classics. Similar to the Great Books and it goes for about the same price on Ebay.

Please visit this website: www.randomhouse.com/everymans, there are many hardback classics published by Alfred A. Knopf in the Everyman's Library series with reasonable prices and "Each volume is printed in a classic typeface on acid-free, cream-wove paper with a sewn full cloth binding." I've bought to collect and read some 50 copies so far, each volume is unique and elegant.
I'm sure you'd find some interesting titles there.
