You should search for a currency exchange website on one of the search engines, and put in that amount to see how much it is in US dollars.

Yes, this is a 'pre-devaulation' note that IS a collector's item, even though it's exchange value is essentially 0. That particular note is one of the most popular in the series. It's value to a collector depends on it's condition (crisp uncirculated bills being the most valuable), and the year it was issued (usually 1981 for this note). You can check eBay to see how much these sell for, but I think it's around $15 - $30 for the ones in top condition.

It's probably a fake, like those one million dollar bills you see.

If it were real it would be worth over $300,000. Seems very unlikely.
