What video type can my MP4 play or read?

what video file type can my mp4 play i tried almost everything even MPEG-4 doesnt work it doesnt read the file type please help me i really need to put videos on my mp4

an mpeg-4 should work on your MP4 player obviously. so you are either doing it wrong or dont know what your doing. read the manual or something

i have 1 2 and its reads amv so u have to format yo vidoes
