Kobe is the ultimate one on one player, but basketball is a team sport. Lebron has a better sense of what's best for the team. You also have to understand that Lebron is merely 21 and is a freak of nature to have that size along with speed. He views the court like a point guard and has tremendous upside. The best comparison would be to look at kobe how he is now and what lebron will be when he's that age. Both are incredible players and its hard to decide. but if I had to build a team from scratch I would pick lebron in a heartbeat. he has a way of involving his team better than kobe.

yeah umm 2 guys that say lebron is a better defender than KB24 then they must hav missed the All-Defensive TEam awards
cuz lebron was no where 2 be found and KOBE was on the first team
and dont give me that "kobe is a ball hog, not a team player"
yeah cuz if lebron was playin with the same guys kobe was then he would b a ball hog 2
the Lakers hav NO supporting cast for poor Kobe

Kobe can finish a game better than Lebron. Lebron can make a game so fun with his incredible moves. I think they are just even. They have their own unique abilities.

i love kobe (even named my son after him) i think right now kobe is better, however lebron is young i have no doubt that he will be one of the greatest all time players, he can do it all and is very well rounded in the game.
