FAST-FOOD...a McDonald's every few miles. I think that Depression is increasing too. And don't forget, there are problems with every country, not just us.

first of all, you are overgeneralizing by stating that Americans are fat. (i am not american btw) secondly, you are being prejudice if you think that all americans are greedy and selfish, which have nothing to do with being obese anyway. It is simply the culture that shapes what their diet is, not their characters. America welcomes a heck of a variety of food, in which most are inorganic and fattening.
Americans are not a superpower, America as a nation is a superpower but it has nothing to do with the daily actions of an average americans. i think you are thinking irrational here, maybe you hate america but where in the world can you find pure justice? in heaven maybe.
let's face it pal, there are good people in America too although you might be surrounded by the spoiled one(whom are fat)

regrettably, it is uncomplicated in many different "progressed" international places. needless to say one won't be able to generalize, there are various sturdy people in each and every united states, yet I understand what you propose. you will locate there is various community spirit in undesirable international places or while there is a few organic disaster, then people understand that they are extra helpful off in the event that all of them artwork mutually and help one yet another and do the splendid element. on the different hand, while some people have funds and capacity they develop into selfish, conceited, fat, lazy, and stupid using fact they have the alternative, and regrettably chosen to do the incorrect element. yet, as I pronounced, we will not generalize, no longer everybody is like that, thank God.

WHEN has America ever started a war with ANYONE.....?????
The one we are in now, we went there AFTER our country was attacked and over 3,000 people were MURDERED on OUR soil.
Get a clue about what you write or think before you make a comment like that.
America has tried all she could to HELP other countries when they cry for help.
The only war we ever started was a war we fought with each other, Civil War.

Part of it is inactivity. America is spread out and cars are usually the only means of ransportation to get around. Thus people rely on their cars more so than their own bodies.
I also blame the American food industry producing unhealthy crap for consumers to eat.

It's only 3/4 :cS . It's mostly because of the American culture of Fast food, it's invaded almost every aspect of their daily life.

A poor diet, and lack of regular fitness program will lead to being overweight in most cases. Lack of proper nutrition and the poor self image and physical limitations that accompany obesity can also be a factor in depression. It becomes a downward cycle for may people. There is hope and strength when we Look to Christ to set us free from those things that entangle us.

Too far to walk. More convenient to drive. America has wide open spaces that are too difficult to get top unless you are traveling in a car, plane, train, or airplane.

As a fellow skinny American I take issue with your statement.
Yup, we are greedy and selfish.
But not all of us.
