If you need to acivate your copy of Windows XP and your internet connection isn't working, try calling the toll-free number listed for US-Microsoft. When you reach the live operator, they will ask you for a long set of a group of numbers, you'll have to read those off to him/her and they'll supply you with an activation code, provided, of course, you have a Genuine copy of Windows. If not, you will have to get a legitimate copy and re-install Windows.

Sounds like your pc has got infected! If you don't have a virious protection then get one. IF you do have it then you need to uninstalled then reinstall the program. That should take care of your problem.

educated gas is mostly right. only they will give you the option of buying an oem license, you won't have to reinstall.
