Football hands down. (American, that is) Favorite player is a little harder. I'd have to say Donovan McNabb. I know he hasn't performed his best lately, but the guy's got a lot of heart. He played with some serious injuries last year, played sick this year, and is almost always smiling through it all. You Da Man D-Nabb.

Hockey is my favourite and Bobby Hull was the greatest player ever IMO.
He was the most exciting player ever and had the hardest shot at around 118 mph and was also the fastest skater at around 33 mph.
I'm not 100% sure on my numbers but they are not far off and he was tops in both categories.
The game has changed a lot and it's hard to compare players from one generation to another.
