just pull up the toilet and get it out, forsaking all the drama.

Dear Lady:
When the water in the toilet has fallen to its normal level,
pour in one soup kettle full of hot boiling water. Let that
sit for as long as it takes to go away down the drain.
Repeat this process about 5 or 6 times - no flushing
with the toilet tank lever - you don't want cold water from
the tank to cool off your hot water. Soap will dissolve faster in hot water than it will in cold water.
if you have a toilet bowl plunger, you might try plunging
the toilet bowl some in between each addition of hot
water. At some point the clog should come free.
If it does not come free... you can add:
One Can of Draino
to the water in the toilet bowl
along with your pan of boiling water.
Let the water drain out slowly by its self...do not flush
the toilet or the draino stuff will get all over everything.
Read the caution label on the Draino Can. It can cause
some bad burns to exposed skin.
Hope this works for you.

My three year old did the same thing, fortunately we were able to see it. We took a knife and stabbed it. The thing is it kept wanting to go further back. When did this happen? If my kids leave a bar of soap in the bath and I don't pull the plug it goes away pretty fast so maybe give it a little bit if you have two bathrooms. I think a wire coat hanger is your best bet after waiting.

I had the same problem with some renters. I removed the toilet placed it in the shower/tub and used muriatic acid to soften the soap. After a day of softening, I used lots of hot water to help flush it through. You may have to use a wire (coat hanger) to dig some of it out. Do this by turning the toilet upside down. Good Luck.

You have two choices. One is call a plumber and have the toilet snaked out. Second go to your local hardware store or home improvement store and purchase a toilet snake. It is simple to use and anyone there can assist you in showing you how to use it.

Boiling water and pour very slowly. May take a day or two. Short of pulling the commode, that's the only method I could come up with.

If you have access to another toilet for a couple of days the soap in your toilet will dissolve and things will be back to normal.

I am afraid you are going to have to call rotorooter...or one of those plumbers that snake the toilet. It could be FOREVER before just flushing it breaks away the soap...

reach in there and, J/K. try a drywall hole patcher. they go in easy but will open (like an umbrela) when you pull it. it might work. that is just the wierd one. Rent/buy a snake. find a little kid and pay him/her to pull it out. lol! J/K. good luck with the W.C.
