i don't think that it's fair to say one way or the other which gender works harder on a whole. Obviously every situation is different; stay at home moms and dads, working moms, working dads. I think in a relationship, since most people seem to be drifting that way, the workload is shared. The work that has to happen at home is shared when both people are home, and when they are seperated, the workloads are individual. The stress can vary depending on the kind of day one person is having. I just think it's a little ill advised to ask that kind of question... perhaps being more specific?

Gotta be a man asking that question! They might work harder manually, but it is only for a few hours of the day, then they go home, sit in their chair opposite the tv and expect to be waited on hand and foot. The women work from the minute they get up til the minute they go to sleep. Who else do you think plans what you're going to eat, how your clothes are washed, etc. Wake up lol.

Men work harder at what???? If your are implying that men who are employed on the labour market work harder than women, then you are a cheeky devil (to put it in polite terms lol). This is a very sexist remark! There are plenty of men out there who are lazier than alot of women. Have you done any research? I think not! I bet you asked this question to get all of the women going! :o)

Where did you ever get that idea? Women work harder than men. Have you ever tried to dance backwards in high heels? Juggle family, career and self? As my momma used to say "A man works from sun to sun but a woman's work is never done".

i think u got the wrong info...Ur saying men work...they work for a certain amout of hours and then go home and are off the rest of the evening/night->and dont have to worry about anything...where as a Woman...has to work endlessly 24 hours a day 7 days a week...with no breaks because they have to take care of their children...the house...and now in the modern era..most women workkk...so i think right there YOU should realize that Women work more then men...So next time before u come up with a closed minded statement why dont u check up on all ure resources and look around a bit before u imply such stupid statements/questions.

What a load of rot...I as a female chef had to work much harder than most men to gain my place in the higher echelons of catering, as the prejudice is shocking.

Their brains are not as efficient as a woman's, so they have to work harder at everything to get the same result.

Hello? Is there anybody in there?
