If the song is in your itunes then when you plug your ipod into your computer turn your itunes on. Your ipod will show up in the list to the left of your itunes screen called devices. Just Click and open your music library. Then click and drag the song you want from your library to you ipod and it will download it to the ipod.

Hook up your iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Once you import the songs you want and the computer finds the iPod, then go to File, then sync iPod, or something along those lines.

Ipods suck. They're too complicated. You have to somehow convert every song for it to function. That's just too weird for me.

So I don't have an answer. All I can say is get another mp3 player. There are more brands of mp3 players than ipod, ya know...
