Maybe they just decided on that day to do it, because theatre movies released on friday, sometimes wednesday, and sneak peeks are on saturdays, so I guess monday is too hectic to do anything.

i asked someone that one time and they told me hat since movies usualy come out on wed or fri they wanted to make it a differnt day. kind of a inbetween day to look at rentals.
