I know that HP/Compaq is the leader followed by Lenovo. But for me the best is DELL. I've been using almost all these brand s but for me Dell is the best. It's ranked 2nd or 3rd in the global market but it should be first. As for HP, it's like buying a Hyundai or a KIA. You would never know what is the next problem.

Dell is the best so far, excellent support and lasting hardware.
HP and gateway are the Kia-s of Computers, I will take a HP or gateway for free.
Toshiba and Sony are good too.
