How can I stop a date and time object from updating in Microsoft Word?

Select the time or date object and click on Insert.
Choose Date and Time and remove the tick from 'Update automatically' and click OK. The date and time will revert to normal text.

Simply, put it as a Text Object.

or change the properties of the element not to update, or remove it and just type the date
