See how history repeats itself:
Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were shot in Sarayevo, by Gavrillo Princip. Princip & six other members of his group (the Black Hand) planned the assasination because they wanted Serbia to be free from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and to ally itself with Bosnia-Herzogovina There had already been 2 minor wars amongst the Balkan States in 1912 & 1913. The members of the Balkan states were Serbia, Bosnia, Herzogavina, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
Incidently. None of the assasins spent more than 8 years in jail.
