was prescribed 5mg of focalin xr about a month ago. didnt do anything for me. are there any signs on the prescription to look out for.. or from the pills?

You cant as both are made to look the same. The only way to tell is if one works as prescribed & the other does not. Animals can not be fooled only people can so dont think if something works, know it.

I gather you mean generic NOT placebo...When you have a script filled most insurance companies want you to have whatever is cheapest and that is never the brand name drug. Generics have the same active ingredients and are usually identical in every way. If all drugs worked there would only be one drug for every ailment and drug companies cannot have that...call you doctor and get something else...
