Oh heck no, that is when you find out the most about each politician. It is quite entertaining as well. Kinda like watching Superbowl commercials.

I live in the People's Republic of CA. I am old, and tired, but quite immune to all this crap. Politics has been this way for decades. People love to gripe. It's a form of masochistic entertainment, and politics provides a lot of jobs for people who otherwise would be living in the streets.Electronic media has just amped up the volume. Endless political haggling doesn't phase me anymore.

I'll vote, but I think it would be easier if I were Supreme Leader of the Universe, because I am correct and honest, and everybody else is wrong and a liar...

I am an Oregonian, and yes smut in any politics annoys me and usually turns me against the smutter, Though in Kerrys case, I'm retired military and heard about his false claims of injuries back in the sixties when I was in nam, Messcook grapevine, best in the world, better than tell a woman, so I wasn't for him to start with nor anyone he backs. By the way,Kerry still has 3 purple hearts.

What I am sick of is the half truths. I would like to see a website that's nertual say exactly what these people voted for or against while in office any office. This way I would know if I wanted this person to be re- elected or if I want someone else to replace him/her

Missouri. Yes. I don't base my vote on those stupid cheap shots.
But I'm sure some people do. I absolutely detest the phone calls.
They come in blocked and I already know who they are. And they also leave recordings. Lemme see......If someone on the no-call list does that, legal action is taken. Why is that political parties shouldn't suffer the same fate?

Georgia, and absolutely. I started changing channels when those ads came on, but I ran out of stations and just turn the TV off.

I'm in Virginia and I'd give my right arm for a candidate that would stand up and say"You can say what you want about me but I'm stickin to the issues and I'm not gonna spend my entire campaign insulting the other candidates or defending their lies".
