Funny you ask....because I have been in this situation. I knew that he was innocent....wasn't jail however, it was prison, and I was there to celebrate the day he won his appeal and was vindicated for the crime he did not commit....

I do need to add to this though. I am no longer with him, didn't leave because of the false conviction....but you have to remember that being with criminals, being treated as if you are a criminal...over time has a tendency "to rub off" on you...so although he may not be guilty...being in jail, "might" change him...Good luck.

If they went away for a long time then its a crime I wouldnt want to be lingering about in my life even if the person didnt do it - they are still associated with the awful thing.
And personally, no matter how much I loved or trusted them, part of me from experience would not 100% trust and believe them. I`d be out there. The possibilty would be too much for me - especially if it eventuated that they had after all commited the crime and then lied to me about not having done it.

If you were sure that he didn't do it and you really love him, than you should stay with him. It all depends how you feel about him.
