is there any way to install a webcam without the disk that came with it?

its a logtech but i dont know the model any help with be greatly appreicated

if you type in a yahoo search...logitech web cam drivers it will give you photos of the cam and that's how you know what you have. You got lucky on this one. Logitech has the best site for problems like this. :)

I seldom use the disk since my PC is running on window XP. Unless you get this webcam long time ago that before the XP. If that the case you better get a new one, as most of the driver not support anymore, or too slow for the OS.

well I've hooked up printers and stuff that I'd misplaced the disks for. Using generic windows drivers. It is probably like the Mr's said though best to download it from the sight.

Check out logitechs website, even if you dont have the model you should be able to pick it out from the pictures, theyll have the driver.

just logon to logitech.com and check the model of your webcam by using internet scan.
then download the driver and install.
during internet scan connect your webcam.

u must install driver ,if u losxt it ,u can download it from driver,s site just type name in google ,second u can find other model driver

If your computer runs on windows XP it might autodetect and install it.
