Can you check the ads in the newspaper, or how about pawn shops or resale shops? Does your town have a 'thrifty nickel paper" place an ad in there. Good luck to you! Happy music!

Hastings (the music & book store). They have several beginner instruments priced very reasonibly. You can try pawn shops and second-hand stores. You can also try your local music stores, they sometimes take trade-ins or sell instruments on consignment. Place an advertisement in the classified section of the newspaper, maybe someone has one that they're not using and they would be willing to sell.

Why not find a good pre-owned one instead? They used to make them better, anyhow, and should be easy to find in a pawn shop or local free paper
