Well if it is an official college transcript you cannot lie becuase it is sent from the school. Do you mean you sent it without verifying an official? You may get away with this but if they double check you wont. I work at a school and know this.

Outright lying about grades etc. is not only wrong it is foolish, Those are quantative things that will show up on your official transcripts anyway. In your essay portion where you describe yourself, of course you are going to do it in the best way possible. That is not lying provided you are giving accurate facts.

You're supposed to get in to college with your own, true, qualifications. If you cheat/lie to get in, you didn't get in honestly, and you'll go through the rest of your life knowing that your education is based on a lie. You'll always wonder if you could have done it on your own.

Lying about your grades is stealing ... or attempting to steal. You are trying to take something that doesn't belong to you, and it's wrong.
