I need to know...please be honest with me! It won't scare me I just really want to know truthfully what they do and what everything they do feels like does it hurt does it feel good does it feel weird?

It's nerve racking the first time. It can be a bit uncomfortable. The doctor will probably do a breast exam first, which isn't too bad. Then you'll have to get the actual pap smear. That part can be uncomfortable and slightly painful... it kind of feels like a really bad period cramp for just a minute. It's really quick, and just stay calm. Remember, this is the doctor's job. If the doctor makes you feel uncomfortable in anyway, do not go back, or tell them you're not comfortable!

well, it depends upon why you are going.
often you will receive a vaginal exam and a breast exam.
the vaginal exam consists of the doctor using his index finger and feeling the wall of your vagina checking for abnormalities. Then he will use a speculum and hold open the vaginal opening. He will visually inspect the vagina and cervix as well as use a swap to "scrap" a few cells from the cervix to test for abnormalities. He will use some lubrication, hopfully it will have been warmed..other wise it can be a bit chilly.
it's not really painful, but can be uncomfortable if your doctor is rushing. also if you have a narrow opening it might be a little uncomfortable. If you have used tampons or are sexually active you should have no problems as far as narrowness goes.
with the breast exam you lay back on the table and they have you put your arm up over your head and they feel around your breast tissue in a circular motion...there should be no pain involved with this exam.
it's all awkward, but not really all that bad...

Try to relax and bathe before you go. Whether it a woman/man you will be thought of better if you clean. I had a friend years ago this what he did. If the person good it be OK, sure anything like this will hurt some as you will feel uncomfortable and tense up. Just try to relax best you can maybe it help.

Most of it feels weird and COLD bc they use metal i want to say prongs but that is not the correct word for what they use but its something like it. One part hurts but only for a sec not long at all. Most of the feeling you will feel is weirdness. It is not too bad.

dont let them scare you! its wierd cuz ur nakie (bottoms down) and your spread eagle on the exam table but pain wise its uncomfortable NOT painful if its PAINFUL its cuz u have an infection or somthing. The only thing that is reaally uncomfortable is the pap smear the rest really isnt bad but mostly cold and wierd.

she/he will do a breast exam, then will check for cervical cancer by putting in an instrument down below and then scrape it to send to the lab. Will also check w/fingers and push up towards your tummy. It is a little bit uncomfortable

It feels very weird because you have to get bottomless and unhook your bra for some stranger... The gynecologist sticks some things in you and that causes a little pain.

it isn't that bad. They will probably do a pap smear where they insert this probe to check for cervical cancer and std's etc...it feels uncomfortable but it doesn't hurt!

they put a small scope into your vagina and that a small scaping of the wall of your vagina to see if it is normal tissue it is a little uncomfortobile.
