I'm an independent liberal. I tend to share more views with democrats than republicans, but I'm not 100%. I'd vote for John McCain, and I'd never vote for Hillary Clinton.

I am a republican because I do not believe this way in these issues.
1. I don't believe that children should be sucked down a sink before they born, because their 16 yr old mother should have rights but is not smart enough or responsible enough to make those decisions.
2. I believe in the right to bear arms. The liberals think that all our guns right should be taken away. Although republicans know that the criminals will still have guns and then we will not have any protection.
3. The bible clearly states that homosexuality is wrong. The democrats think that this is an OK thing to be.
4. The democrats are also very liberal with welfare also. I have worked all of my life in this country of opportunity. The democrats want to give it all to the poor and bash me for what I have. I don't mind helping out, but don't make me a bad guy for working for what I have.

I'm a Democrat, but if it becomes a choice between Hillary Clinton and a reasonable Republican (Giuliani, McCain) then I'm voting for the Republican.

GOP all the way, even although i'm an self sustaining. I evaluate all the Dimocrats to be socialists, my opinion, and all of them are professional-amnesty for unlawful extraterrestrial beings, a actuality. i visit in basic terms vote for a candidate who i believe receives tricky on the 20 to 38 million unlawful alien invaders: Romney, Hunter, Tancredo, Thompson, or Ron Paul. If none of those high quality guy get the GOP nomination, i visit vote for a 0.33 party candidate or abstain.

Niether--Green party. The main parties don't really represent what the people want anymore. And both take bribes and worry more about being re-elected than making the best decision.
And I'm not voting for Hillary Clinton---I'm highly against some of her views.

There are a lot of things about the Democratic platform that offends me. However, there are lot of things about the Republican platform that offends me even more. Im voting Democratic. Too bad there isnt a middle of road party.

I vote for the person, but tend to lean toward democratic politicians. I just generally agree with their views on controversial topics more often; abortion, civil unions, war, etc...
As far as Hillary goes, yes I would vote for her. I hope she runs for president!

I'm an independent because --
the democrats falsely believe in the perfectability of man through his institutions and in classes of citizenship based on ideological distinctions
whereas
the republicans falsely believe that government can favor religion and morality and still be a republic.
