okay this is what you do.. get a shallow bowl put white vinegar about 4 table spoons or a Little more add 2 table spoons of dish liquid stir it up and place where you want. the gnats are drawn to the smell and the soap drowns them it works.

I believe what you have are fruit flies, not gnats. Build a trap for them. Take an empty 20 ounce plastic soda bottle, cut it in two about two thirds of the way up. In the bottom half of the bottle put a couple inches of apple juice. Now take the top of the bottle, turn it upside down, and stick it in the lower half so that the small opening for drinking is now about 1 inch from the top of the apple juice. Secure around the top with tape. The theory is, the flies fly in through the small opening and then cannot find thier way back out. Good Luck

You need to find the source, rotting meat, a pile of poop, a dead animal, something they can breed in is somewhere close by. Could be in the attic, or under the house, look again where they seem to be concentrated the most, locate the source and eliminate it and you'll get rid of the gnats.

They could be fruit flies...or if you have a pothos plant growing in or by your kitchen, it may be overwatered. I thought I had gnats (not me, but in my kitchen!!), but it turned out that I just had some too ripe bananas. I once had a pothos (long viney green plant) in my office and it always had gnats around it. I had overwatered it.

get a sticky catcher. they fly right into them & can't get free. i suggest keeping all fruits and vegies in the fridge for a while to get rid of them. put dishes into dishwasher immediately or wash them immediately to eliminate what they have to eat. also, clean out your trash can literally-- underneath the liner.

You should pour bleach around where you think they are coming from. They are probably multiplying because they are laying eggs. You need to get to the source of them. Bleach will kill the eggs!
