After sex, even after I lay with my bottom under a pillow for 20-30 min. The semen still runs out, I know it will a little but I have to cross my legs and run to the bathroom. Is this normal and if not why is it happening? Please help!!!!

Ya know what Lord Jelly, you need to be nicer and respect people. My husband and I have really had a hard time getting pregnate and I have been put on fertility pills because of not ovulating and have had a really hard emotional time. I think you are a very shallow person to say something like that to me. You should never hope for a person trying to have a baby to not get pregnate. You are a awful awful person and I hope that something this bad never happens to you. Think before you speak and grow the hell up!!!!! Thank you to everyone else who have helped me so much. God Bless all who have helped me. Thank you for your advice!

Its normal. It happened to me for many months..... Ever heard the expression "Your better half ran down your mother's leg?" lol. I started standing on my head because the pillow thing was NOT working at all.
my husband and I got married in December '05 and we didnt get pregnant until this May. We tried and tried to the point that I felt something was wrong with us. I kept faith in god (prayed for a healthy pregnancy) and I ordered some PreSeed (a lubricant that helps sperm travel) and I GOT PREGNANT the first time using it! Go to preseed.com and order some. Its safe and it worked. * Also start taking prenatal vitamins before you get pregnant, it helps decrease risks of certain diseases/illnesses in babies that develop before you even know that you are pregnant.*
God Bless you & yours.

The semen is just a fluid that the sperm swim in. It will run out, but the little swimmers are doing their job anyway. Don't worry about it leaking out, it has to go somewhere. Its perfectly normal! Just relax, being too concerned while trying to conceive can actually effect your fertility. I tried for 4 years, and did everything to try and help it along. It was when I decided to just "go with the flow" and stop obsessing over it that I actually DID get pregnant. Best of luck to you and yours!

yes it is normal but keep in mind you don't need all the semen to get pregnant and if it bothers you grab a hand towel before you have sex so that when you get up its not running down your legs. that is what my fiance` and i do. best of luck getting pregnant. if you wouldn't mind i will give you a piece of advice. change positions. do something that you normally don't do or you haven't tried yet, that is how i got pregnant with my daughter.

Yes, it has to go some where. It should come out, only a few sperm will even be strong enough to try to"make the journey". Also my OB told me to go ahead & get up after sex that "holding it" or laying on your back does not increase your odds it is just a wives tale. Good Luck!

you are not loosing the sperm. it is just the liquid runnung out. if you are laying down for the 20 minutes with your but elevated, then you are fine. i too am having fertility issues and i know how it feels. dont listen to ignorant people who say to "just relax and you'll get pregnant". when you have fertility problems just relaxing wont help. you should have someone to talk to while you are going through this. you are not alone. good luck!

it might just be that your husband produces alot fo semen. Its nothing really to worry about, it only takes one sperm to fertilize, so i wouldn't worry that much, if it is a problem or you feel kinda gross or anything, i would just have him ejaculate a little then pull out. But if it doesn't bother you, then you can still get pregnant. good luck!

The part that is leaking is not the actual semen. Once he ejaculates it's already on its way, even if the rest comes out you still have lots up there.

Dont worry even though some of it runs out there would still be enough that has gone all the way up.

well, semen is a liquid protein. sperms have a mind of their own, and are professionals. they know where they need to go. has you husband had his semen levels checked for viable sperm? usually there are millions. both dead and alive.
