Tire pressures are wrong or
shock absorbers are bad or
front end is misaligned or
brakes are intermittantly applying themselves or
the car was in an accident which bent the frame of the vehicle

Could be as simple as a tire out of balance or as serious as ball-joints, tie rod ends or shocks. Run your hand along the tread of the tire to see if there is any unevenness or cupping. If there is it a good chance it is tire balance or shocks. Take it to a reputible front end shop for an expert opinion. It will only get worse.

Your wheels may need alignment or your tires are worn badly. Maybe you need new ball joints in the front of car.

Check the air pressure of your tires first. If they are not pretty close to the same all around it can cause major vibrations at high speeds.

Have the tires balanced to start with, also check for a bent wheel when this is being done.

I am not a mechanic, but its usually the front end alignment or your tires. If you take it into a repair shop, they can check your front end, then balance and align it as needed.

get it checked...

be more specific with the shake

loose lug nuts will cause a shake, uneven tire wear, broken belt in the tire.. if steel belted radial... could be something in the driveshaft, could be shock related.... is your monkey loose in the back seat?

could be many things... get it checked....is dangerous if it affects the driveability of your car...

you may have an alignment problem
it could also be:
