I think it's just cuz like anybody who wrestles up against him usualy ends up turning white or being scared for their lives and then i also think it has to do with the fact when the story line was brother vs. brother and Kane burried him alive he came back when Kane thought he was dead, but most of all its just Undertaker's nickname cuz it just suits him for his large size and over agressive wrestling...dont forget to watch the brothers of destruction team up tonight on firday night smackdown yay cant wait!!

When he was little of course this is fake but when he accidental burnt down his house he died then came back to life again that is wee he got the name Deadman cause he died and came back
